About the character
Neither good nor evil, Nina Cortex is the beloved 11 year old niece of Dr. Neo Cortex. A relatively strange but playful girl, Nina enjoys causing trouble for those who cross her path through pranks, name calling and just generally being a bit of a pest. Nina currently attends Madame Amberly's School of Evil and while she excels there she’d much rather do her own thing. Her alignment is neither good nor evil, her alignment is >:3
Nina is a weird kid, she has a fascination with insects, dead stuff and enjoys pulling apart toys and putting them back together in horrifying ways. She enjoys leaving insects she finds around the island in people's pockets, shoes even desk draws just to see how they react. Weirdness aside she is a creative kid at heart, despite her talents in the field of science she doesn’t really care for it much preferring to make stuff.
She is unaware of who her birth parents are but isn’t really fussed about the whole thing either. As far as she’s concerned the only family she needs is uncle cortex and her uncle’s brio and n.gin. Nina adores her uncles, she thinks the world of them all and enjoys hanging around them when she can. While she has a strong bond with her uncle’s Nina struggles with relating to other kids her age and because of this she doesn’t have too many friends. She insists she doesn’t need friends when asked about it but… having someone who likes the same stuff she does would be nice.
Headcanons
Nina’s birthday is 28th of september (the release date of Twinsanity, i’m ignoring crash purple entirely)
Nina is around 120cm (3’9”) in height and weighs around 25kg, she is well aware she is small for her age. Do not bring it up.
Nina’s hands were replaced when she was around 8 years old, despite all the time that has passed she still isn’t quite sure on how to control her strength which has led to her breaking a lot of things around the castle.
She doesn’t swear she’d like to though.
While she still loves animals she would never dare to hold one ever again, stuffed animals are a perfect compromise even if they aren’t as soft as the real deal.
Like any 11 year old Nina likes minecraft and thinks shadow the hedgehog is the coolest thing ever.
